I started by working with the Chief Financial Officer to update the interview process. We identified the critical qualities that indicate high performance in the role, and we built questions that would allow for effective evaluation of those qualities. I participated directly as a member the interview team, helping to guide the process and providing objective insight on the candidates.
The organization was able to find a strong candidate for their open leadership position by adhering to a well-established interviewing and hiring process tailored to their specific needs. The candidate has proven to be a high performer in the role.
