I interviewed the company’s Chief Executive Officer about his view of what the organization needed most, and I provided my professional input on what was most critical for them to prioritize for legal purposes. After immediate staffing changes were implemented to comply with employment laws, I wrote and delivered the rollout of an employee handbook, along with a process for collecting employee acknowledgement.
Over the course of the engagement, I advised the CEO on such topics as performance management, compensation, organizational structure, organizational culture, harassment, metrics and goal setting, and lawful termination. As a result, the company is now far better equipped not only to avoid regulatory issues, but to operate a higher performing, efficient workplace.
